The realest Shawn Ryan
More men put in harms way, for highly questionable intentions, for the gain of elites.
If there is anything the US excels at, it’s creating mayhem around the world.
Thank you Shawn for Major Caper’s and showing the World that real Heroes protect our way of Life daily, Fair Wind and Following Sea’s!
“that’s when my love comes tumbling down” as you roll down a hill in a fight for your life ten thousand miles from home is fucking GOLD 😂
So he almost got friendly fired bc his teammates were inept idiots that forgot he was there?😭
That’s insane
Crazy to hear a song and be reminded of the first kill you had in combat
That’s crazy
Americans Fighting and dying to prevent the spread of communism in another part of the world. What a worthless sense of value and honor
That is a nightmare every time you hear the song
Just buried my uncle last week. He was a Vietnam vet who never wanted to talk about it; he just wanted to be alone in his house in the woods. I found a bronze star and a purple heart when I was cleaning out his house. I never knew. He was a kind and beautiful man that Vietnam broke. I’ll miss you, unc.
Vietnam Rickroll
Helos flying playing the ghost tape.
Alabama was from Mississippi just in case you’re wondering….
Sounds like a scene from a Tarantino movie.
What they went through was crazy.
That song starts with “Know I am going to hold you in my heart, I see a twinkle in your eye” …That VC snagging his radio on something and that exact song playing in the moment this guy knifes the VC to those words…..That was a pure fated moment. The radio could have played just static or background noise….That is exactly like those moments where you’re in a firefight and you can just feel rounds going past you and later in the evening when you are back on base you sit down and ponder how you were surrounded by all that was passing by y6ou so close that you felt it and not a single round touched you…..then you realize that No!, you are not special, it was simply fate and not your time that just created a moment in time you will never forget until the day you close your eyes for the last time. Personally, I like to keep those memories just for myself. It is what makes them special to me.
Not me thinking Billy idol 😂
Watch American Veteran Center interview with Vietnam vet, Steve Valenzuela. He fought in the Tet Offensive. Riveting, hardcore recounting.
Who went and looked up the song
He talks to much
The calmness tells me all i need to know. Its never the loudest man in the room. The man that has made peace with ending someones breath is not to be messed with.
God bless you sir for your service and welcome home
Legend.
Damn… his first was hand to hand. Well, thats one way to see what youre made of.
Music is powerful
LOL HOLY SHIT😂
You couldn’t make that up
Vietnam destroyed USA pride.❤
Back in Nam when I offed my first VC I literally had an orgasm so hard I sprained my hamstring. I knew I was the man for the job after that
Damn…. First kill and it was with K Bar….. That’s PRIMAL UP CLOSE AND SEVERELY traumatizing!!! Shooting someone and taking their life is STILL a HORRIBLE thing to have to do, but to feel their blood spraying on you and gurgling until they stop moving is some SERIOUS ish
Shout out KA-BAR Knives!
My first was in vietnam. It was in 1983 but you can never be to careful
That’s a crazy story. Glad your still here bro.
Wanna talk about it?
Hell yeah…
These old heads be lyin lol
My uncle Billy was in Hue and Da Nang. He did not discuss it often, but I was his sounding board when he did. Only I never talked; I just let him tell what he wanted to tell. Later he was able to join support groups, and by the end of his life he was at peace with what he had done in Vietnam.
As a young soldier fresh to Vietnam and having your first encounter with an enemy being one where a Vietnamese soldier trips his radio, gets shot by your fellow soldier, resulting in the enemy falling directly on top of you while still alive, where you proceeded to just barely get to your knife in time to dispatch your enemy before he got to you, is just an absolutely wild story. Talk about getting thrown right into the deep end!
…back in Nam. Hope he’s not in a Asian restaurant when the song plays
Alabama having to slap a few rounds thru his buddy’s poncho to kill an NVA with a boombox playing In The Midnight Hour is wild. Dude probably had crazy dreams after that
dude is a liar
What a bad ass song to kill a man too
so this NVA was trecking through the jungle- had his boom box snag on a twig- was shot, rolled down the hill, and then was k-bar’d. Bad night bro.
This guy is such bullshit
Looks pretty young for how much 💩he’s had to shovel through. 🫤
Friday, June 26, 2026, the radiology department did a cat scan that showed four broken ribs, which is upsetting
4 broken ribs – healing, but it will require time
It might be September 2026 for the broken bones to heal
I am slowly walking around my home, taking cautious steps because of ongoing discomfort.
This morning, I got out of bed and moved carefully from my bedroom to the bathroom, aware of my injury.
Dealing with pain from a broken rib while moving around or using the bathroom is both upsetting and frustrating, as it limits my mobility and comfort.
It’s been about five weeks since I broke my rib, but it usually takes at least eight weeks or longer to heal a broken bone.
The pain from the broken rib is severe and stabbing, often getting worse with each breath or movement. Enduring this persistent ache for at least eight weeks will be very challenging and will affect my daily life and sleep.
It’s the middle of summer! 😊
I hope you’re doing okay.
The weather is warmer, and the heat wave is intense in the summer.
The ground is covered with green grass, thanks to the sun and rain, with a blue sky overhead.
Remember, you’re never alone during tough times.
Looking ahead, I think about July 2026, hoping for better days and a full recovery.
I too have a song to my first kill call me maybe by Carley ray japser tho it wasnt a knife kill i stitched the guy in half with M2 got 5 hits center mass he didn’t fall over he got stuck sorta standing in the window frame after the second burst i seen his arm fall off i k ew he was dead
